Celebrations and proposals on a boat in Lagos
A private boat on the Lagos coast is one of the easiest ways to make an occasion feel special: just your people, golden cliffs, clear water and nobody else around. Here is how guests usually plan it.
Occasions we host
Birthdays (including plenty of surprise milestone birthdays), anniversaries, honeymoons, proposals, small wedding parties and family reunions. Because every charter is private, the day is built around your group.
Planning a proposal
- Pick the light. The Sunset Cruise is the classic choice: the cliffs glow and the sun drops behind Ponta da Piedade.
- Pick the spot. A quiet cove or the view of the grottos both work well. Tell us what you have in mind and we will plan the route to be there at the right moment.
- Keep it a surprise. Message Larissa on WhatsApp beforehand to agree the timing and any signal. We are used to keeping secrets.
Birthdays and anniversaries
We can help with a cake, decorations and timing, and bubbly or food on board on request. The Wine & Cheese Charter, with Portuguese wines and local cheeses, is a favourite for anniversaries and parents' celebrations.
Something extra: massage at sea
Larissa is a qualified physiotherapist and can give a relaxing massage on the sunbed while the boat rests at anchor. It can be added to any charter and makes a good gift for a birthday or honeymoon.
Which boat?
Grace, a Bavaria 25 Sport, is ideal for couples and small families, up to 5 guests. Glory, an Airon Marine 345, has room for groups of up to 8.
